Dr. Jennifer Lambert received her BS in Psychology from Hamilton College and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She completed her clinical psychology internship at the Boston VA Medical Center and has been working at the Providence VA since 2001. She started her Providence VA career in the research service and then transitioned to primarily clinical in 2005 given a strong interest in addressing the needs of service members returning from deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Lambert is a dedicated clinician and has been repeatedly recognized for her commitment to Veterans. Dr. Lambert also has a strong commitment to teaching. She has served as the Adult Track Coordinator for the Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, the Primary Supervisor for the Trauma Recovery Services Psychology Resident, and is the Primary Supervisor for one of the Trauma and Readjustment Clininc Fellowships at the PVAMC. She coordinates the Long-Term Therapy placement for psychology residents at the VA, and has been a mentor in DPHB’s Diversity Mentoring Program. Finally, Dr. Lambert has had several administrative roles at the Providence VA and is now serving as the Associate Chief of Staff for the Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences Service.
