Jeff Marr is a health economist and an Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy, and Practice at Brown University’s School of Public Health. He studies health care markets using quasi-experimental methods and administrative data. His current work focuses on Medicare, prior authorization, and the use of AI in health care. His research has been published in leading economics and health policy journals, including the Journal of Health Economics, Health Affairs, and Health Services Research. Marr received his PhD in health economics and policy from Johns Hopkins University.
