Dr. Jay Trivedi is an Instructor in research at the Department of Orthopaedics, The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, working in Dr. Jayasuriya’s laboratory. He obtained his B.Sc. in Zoology, and M.Sc. in Toxicology from M.S. University, India. Dr. Trivedi received his Ph.D. in Virology from the National Centre for Cell Science, India. Dr. Trivedi is a molecular cell biologist with expertise in biotechnology, drug discovery, and tissue regeneration. His research interests focus on developing stem cell-based therapeutic strategies for soft tissue injury repair, including meniscus, cartilage, and tendon. Dr. Trivedi currently serves as the Chair of the Networking Committee of the Orthopaedics Research Society Meniscus section.
