My research interest has gravitated from basic research in fetal lung development to clinical research, and specifically, quality improvement projects to improve the outcome of patients in the NICU. Current studies include non-invasive management to decrease the incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and the development of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) program in the NICU.
