John Wincze, PhD was Associate Director of The Men’s Health Center at Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I. He received his PhD from the University of Vermont and he was a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He has more than 40 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sexual problems and he has published extensively in the area of sexual behavior. He has served as the Head of the Psychology Licensing Board in the state of Rhode Island and he has been qualified as an expert in psychology and in the assessment and treatment of sex offenders in a number of State Courts and in Federal Court. He has been invited as a Visiting Scholar to lecture throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Europe on the topics of The Assessment and Treatment of Sex Offenders and The Assessment and Treatment of Sexual Dysfunction. He was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Sex Research for over 10 years.
