Kenneth Lynch, PhD, APRN, is the Director of Surgical Education for the Brown General Surgery Residency Training Program and an Associate Professor of Surgery (Teaching Scholar) at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Clinically, Dr. Lynch serves as a Nurse Practitioner within the Division of Trauma and Critical Care in the Department of Surgery at Rhode Island Hospital. He earned his PhD in Education with a specialization in Adult Education from the University of Rhode Island.
Throughout his career as a faculty member, Dr. Lynch has dedicated himself to educating, training, and mentoring medical students, surgical residents, and fellows. His research primarily focuses on the assessment and evaluation of both the technical and non-technical skills of surgical trainees.
