Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Kelsey Borner, PhD completed her undergraduate education at Bowdoin College, and received her PhD in clinical child psychology from the University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology Program. She completed her clinical internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and a fellowship in behavioral pain psychology at Children’s National Hospital. Prior to joining Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Dr. Borner was an attending psychologist at Children’s National Hospital in the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Borner is a Clinical Assistant Professor through the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a clinical psychologist at the Hasbro Children’s Partial Hospital Program (HCPHP), where she works with children and adolescents presenting with combined medical and psychiatric illnesses. Dr. Borner has interests in working with youth with chronic pain and physical symptoms, functional neurological symptom disorder, and eating disorders.
