Overview

Keith Callahan, MD, MBA is a solo-practice family physician and Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Callahan is involved in medical education, leadership and advocacy roles. He supervises Alpert Medical School students during their Family Medicine clinical rotation, and has served as the President of the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians (RIAFP). Dr. Callahan is the founding editor-in-chief of the RIAFP journal, leads the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians State Advocacy Day and represents state and national Family Medicine interests during the specialty’s advocacy days in Washington DC. For the last 3 years, he has represented Rhode Island in the national AAFP Congress of Delegates. Dr. Callahan was recently elected to the Rhode Island Medical Society Board of Directors
