Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Kayla E. Sall, Ph.D. (she/her), is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Staff Psychologist at Providence Behavioral Health Associates. 

Dr. Sall's work centers the experiences of underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized communities in research on trauma and sexual & reproductive health outcomes. She has a particular interest in institutional betrayal experiences among sexual violence survivors, LGBTQ+ folks, and Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC). 

Dr. Sall received her PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from East Carolina University in 2023. She completed her pre-doctoral internship (clinical psychology residency) and postdoctoral fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is a Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist in Rhode Island.
