Kera Street (Ph.D., Harvard University) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at Brown University. She is broadly interested in the spirtual lives and religious ambitions of black women in the digital age. Her current project profiles a contemporary evangelical women's ministry to interrograte how ideas about purity, virtue, and biblical womanhood shape the lifeways of conservative Christian women both on- and offline.
Kera earned her Bachelor's degree at Spelman College (2008) and her Masters in Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School (2010).
