Lecturer in Environment and Society

Overview

I hold a PhD in Marine Science and Conservation and a Masters of Environmental Management, both from Duke University. Prior to becoming a Lecturer in the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society, I served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am trained as a human geographer, and my research examines how ocean policy is negotiated and created and how it impacts stakeholders and communities. Through my work, I am committed to fostering more just and effective oceans governance.
