Laura Fischer, PhD, is a licensed psychologist at Rhode Island Hospital's Adult Partial Hospital Program where she provides acceptance and mindfulness-based interventions to adults experiencing a wide range of acute psychiatric symptoms. Dr. Fischer completed her doctoral training at Northeastern University before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She enjoys remaining actively involved in teaching and supervising activities, as well as co-authoring peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
