Professor Emeritus of Geological Sciences

Overview

I received my Ph.D. in Geology from the California Institute of Technology in 1979. I have been a professor at Brown University since 1978, working with the Geophysics/Minerology/Petroloy (GMP) group. My major research focuses on understanding the processes that control the tectonic evolution of ancient collisional mountain belts.
