Laura Chapman is the Associate Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Director of the Pedatric Clinical Decision Unit and the Director of Quality and Safety in the Hasbro Emergency Department. She is also the Director of the Pediatric Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) Program. Her primary research interests are in pediatric sepsis and quality improvement.
She graduated from Rensselaer with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed residency including a chief resident year at Massachusetts General Hospital, and then completed her fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Brown University.
