Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry and Human Behavior


Lauren Reeves, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist who works primarily with returning Veterans and Veterans with trauma- and stressor-related disorders at the Providence VA Medical Center. Dr. Reeves received her PhD from Temple University in 2017. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown specializing in PTSD treatment, she accepted a position working with the Post Deployment & Readjustment Program at the Providence VA. She has a clinical appointment within the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior through Brown, and is the primary supervisor in the adult track for the Trauma Recovery Services rotation. Her clinical interests and expertise include the application of ACT for a variety of disorders, including PTSD, and running groups and workshops. Her research interests include improving our understanding of cannabis use in individuals with early psychosis, and the overlap of trauma and psychotic-like experiences.
