Dr. Belanger is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics, at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received a bachelor degree in Engineering as well as his MD from the University of Vermont. He completed his General Surgery Internship, Orthopaedic Residency, and Trauma Fellowship at Brown University and a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. William Grana at the University of Oklahoma.
He is a member of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association Team Physician Pool. Dr. Belanger is a Fellow of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery; member of The Rhode Island Orthopaedic Society; and board certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of The Arthroscopy Association of North America, and The AO North America. Dr. Belanger practices at University Orthopedics.
