Michael Koster is the director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases division with an interest in quality improvment, global health, and systems operations. He is the medical director for Hasbro Children's infection prevention and control. As director of the bilateral exchange program in Haiti he supports development of medical leadership dev. He is a board member for a large collaborative of children's hospitals supporting St Damien Hospital in Haiti. He has diverse research interest, both local and abroad, with a focus on pediatric infections, including: viral respiratory illnesses, osteoarticular infections, pnuemonia, as well as broad-based projects in supporing antimicrobial stewarship initiatives, and the promotion of life-saving vaccines.
