Marie-Rachelle Narcisse, PhD, MSc, CHCQM, FABQAURP, is a behavioral sleep medicine and population health researcher whose work examines how sleep and circadian health, oral health, the oral microbiome, and social determinants shape health across the life course. Her research integrates epidemiology, systems science, and advanced quantitative methods, including agent-based and system dynamics modeling, to identify pathways for improving population health.

Dr. Narcisse is particularly interested in the interplay among sleep, circadian rhythms, nutrition, oral microbiome ecology, and health outcomes during adolescence and emerging adulthood. Her goal is to generate actionable evidence that informs public health practice, clinical care, and policy.

She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University's Warren Alpert Medical School and a Research Scientist in the COBRE Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at Bradley Hospital. She was recently selected for the 2026-2027 cohort of the Dental Public Health Leadership Academy (DPHLA), a national leadership development program for emerging leaders in dental public health.

Dr. Narcisse serves on the Scientific Review Committee of the Sleep Research Society and holds editorial leadership roles in sleep and public health research
