Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Dr. Sharp recieved her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Health from East Carolina University. She completed her clinical psychology internship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center focusing on Obstetrics and Gyencology and Critical Care psychology Dr. Sharp is the director of the Integrated Behavioral Health service at Lifespan Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior and the supervisor in the Obstetrics and Gynecology long-term psychotherapy rotation for the psychology internship training program at Brown. She leads several ongoing research projects addressing the mental and emotional health aspects of medical complicated pregnancy and childbirth.
