Molly Split, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor (Clinician Scholar) of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a clinical neuropsychologist at Butler Hospital's Memory and Aging Program (MAP). Dr. Split received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from Drexel University. She completed residency training in the adult/geriatric neuropsychology track of the Emory University Internship in Health Service Psychology Program. She then completed the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias fellowship at Butler MAP as part of Brown’s Clinical Neuropsychology Specialty Training Program.
Dr. Split’s research focuses on understanding and enhancing social engagement as a pathway for dementia prevention and brain health, with the goal of developing and optimizing behavioral interventions for individuals and families facing cognitive decline.
