Assistant Professor of Neurology

Overview

Neishay Ayub, MD is an assistant professor of Neurology and Neurology Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Officer. Dr. Ayub earned her medical degree at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She served her internal medicine residency at Rhode Island Hospital/the Alpert Medical School and her neurology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard University neurology program in Boston. Dr. Ayub completed a fellowship in neurophysiology and epilepsy at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. 

Dr. Ayub is board-certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, and Clinical Neurophysiology. She is a member of American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. 

Dr. Ayub's clinical and research interests include Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Global Health, Quality Improvement and Epilepsy Surgery. She has received several honors and awards, including a Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award (2021).
