Nadine T. Himelfarb, MD, FACEP is a cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University and a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her emergency medicine residency training at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in 2012.
Dr. Himelfarb’s professional interests are women faculty development in emergency medicine, emergency OB-gyn care, and legislative advocacy.
Dr. Himelfarb is the Director of the Brown Emergency Medicine women faculty development group, which serves to support and advance women in emergency medicine through mentorship and sponsorship. She is an active member of the Rhode Island chapter of ACEP, currently serving on the Board of Directors as the immediate past president, of National ACEP, currently serving as a Rhode Island Councillor, and of the Rhode Island Medical Society, currently serving as president-elect.
