Overview

Nicholas Valentini, MD is a dual-board-certified emergency medicine and emergency medical services (EMS) physician practicing at Brown University Health in Rhode Island.

 

Dr. Valentini has expertise in prehospital blood transfusion, critical care transport, and EMS education and is the Founder of the Rhode Island Preshospital Shock and Transfusion Outcomes Project (RIPSTOP)

 

In addition to serving as core faculty within the EMS Division at Brown University Health, Dr. Valentini is the medical director for several services across Rhode Island.

 

Dr. Valentini earned his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Michigan, and his fellowship at Brown University Health.

 

He has contributed to peer-reviewed research in emergency medicine, infectious diseases, and critical care transport, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient care both in and out of the hospital.
