Otto Liebmann is an Emergency Physician with Brown University Health. He has been at Brown since 2007 after completing his training in California. His current teaching focus is on personal safety for healthcare providers in response to an increasing prevalence of workplace violence. He teaches personal safety that focuses on keeping clinicians, staff, and patients out of harm's way. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt instructor and Aikido blackbelt instructor who has been teaching self-defense for three decades.
