1) To conduct innovative research involving interdisciplinary, behavioral approaches to the prevention and treatment of disease.

2) To train the next generation of leading interdisciplinary scientists in behavioral and preventive medicine research.

3) To serve as the focal point and resource for research, training, and education in behavioral and preventive medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
