Overview

Peihan Miao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brown University. Her research interests lie broadly in cryptography, security, and theoretical computer science, with a focus on secure multi-party computation. Her research is supported by the NSF SaTC Award, Meta Research Award, DSI Seed Grant, Google Research Scholar Award, and Amazon Research Award.

Peihan received her PhD from UC Berkeley in 2019 under the supervision of Sanjam Garg and her BS degree from ACM Honors Class at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. After finishing her PhD, she worked as a Research Scientist at Visa Research for one year and an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2020 to 2022.
