Dr. Patrick M. Vivier is a Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice and Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Brown University. He was the founding Director and Executive Committee member of the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute. He received his undergraduate degree, an independent concentration in Medical Anthropology, from Brown University. He attended Dartmouth Medical School and the Brown Medical School, receiving his degree from Brown in 1989. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Rhode Island Hospital. He also completed a health services research fellowship and received a PhD from the Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
