Overview

Pei-Chi Wu, MBBS is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician in the CNDC at HC/RI Hospital and at the Fernandez Center at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, MA. Dr. Wu is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook’s Post-Baccalaureate Program and Finders University of South Australia Medical School. She completed her Pediatric Residency at SUNY Stony Brook and her DBP fellowship at Brown/HCH. Dr. Wu’s research during fellowship used data collected by RI’s Department of Health and analyzed data from RI’s Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring Survey (PRAMS) looking at family demographics and mother’s post-partum depressive symptoms. She has joined the RI Collaborative for Autism Research and Training (RI-CART) and has been working to enroll all interested individuals with an ASD in our state into a statewide registry which supports research into ASD in our state. She is research certified in the ADOS. She is also bilingual and fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has rudimentary skill with Taiwanese Chinese. Dr. Wu is the Leader of the Phenotypic Task Force Committee for the Rhode Island Consortium for Autism Research and Treatment (RI-CART).
