Professor Raymond Dufresne, Jr., M.D. graduated summa cum laude from Providence College, then completed medical school and residencies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, as well as a Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Dufresne is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology and has been a fellow in the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery since 1992. He is the Director of the Mohs and Dermatological Surgery Division at Rhode Island Hospital and is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Dufresne has performed thousands of Mohs procedures for over 20 years. His practice focuses exclusively on Mohs surgery. His clinical and research interests are limited to cutaneous oncology and Mohs Micrograpic Surgery.
