Overview

Ruth Levy Guyer is Co-Director of Arts and Ethics in Palliative Care for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at the Brown Medical School. She is a member of the ethics committee of the Miriam Hospital. She has taught medical ethics, bioethics, and environmental ethics courses at Haverford College and also taught in the graduate writing program at Johns Hopkiins University. She has a Ph.D. in immunology. Her current interests are in medical ethics, social justice, narrative medicine, public health, and community action.
