Dr. Becca Howe is the Medical Director of Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) at VA Providence Health System, a THRIVE COIN-affiliated investigator, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Brown University. Prior to her role as HBPC Medical Director, she was an Advanced Fellow in Health Systems Research at VA Providence THRIVE COIN. She completed her family medicine residency and a clinical research fellowship at University of California, Davis. Her research focuses on older adults with serious illness and how health system innovations can improve outcomes for older adults and their caregivers. She conducts home visits with VA Providence HBPC and leads a QI initiative to improve dementia diagnosis and documentation.
