Professor of Orthopaedics

Overview

Dr. Richard Terek received his M.D. from Pritzker School of Medicine of the University of Chicago. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, a fellowship in  surgical oncology, and post-doctoral training in the field of cancer biology with Dr. Anthony Albino at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Currently, Dr. Terek is a Professor of Orthopaedics in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Warren Alpert Medical School.  He is a physician scientist whose clinical subspeciality is orthopaedic oncology. His research is on the molecular genetics of chondrosarcoma.
