Dr. Ward is a board-certified radiologist and fellowship-trained in women's imaging. He specializes in breast imaging and intervention as well as emergency imaging. He also performs image-guided breast cryoablation.

Freezing instead of resection of small breast tumors: a study of cryoablation in the management of early stage breast cancer. A modification of ACOSOG Z1072 Protocol.
The goal of this study is to determine the rate of successful tumor ablation in patients treated with cryoablation of the primary tumor instead of surgical resection of early stage breast cancer.
