Overview

Sandra J. Musial, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, board-certified in pediatrics and obesity medicine. She obtained her medical degree from U Mass Medical School and completed her residency training and a chief resident year at Hasbro Children's Hospital. After working in private pediatric practice for 13 years, she became an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She co-founded the HEALTH clinic (Healthy Eating Active Living at Hasbro) at Hasbro and her clinical interests include nutrition in medicine, breast feeding, and pediatric obesity. Sandy started the Hasbro Rainbow Vegetable Garden to educate and inspire. Her research interests include healthy infant feeding and disease reversal through diet. She is the co-founder and co-chair of the Physicians Committee for Breast Feeding Rhode Island and a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
