Lecturer in Data Science


Shekhar Pradhan is a lecturer in the Data Science Initiative. After a long career as a philosophy professor he switched to computer science and data science. He has taught at a number of universities, most recently at Columbia University. He has published in the areas of philosophy, literary theory, and computer science. His research interets are in natural language processing and machine learning. He is also an entrepreneur, who has created several start-ups leveraging his expertise in natural language processing.
