Overview

Shengliang Zhang is Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (Research) at Brown University. His research focuses on drug development targeting p53 and elucidation of the new drug mechanisms in cancer therapy. Dr. Zhang obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Cellular Oncology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan, followed by his postdoctoral training in gene expression and cell differentiation at Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Zhang serves as an Associate Editor for the Cancer Molecular Targets and Therapeutics Section of Frontiers in Oncology, and as an editorial board member of Cancer Biology and Therapy.
