Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Clinician Educator

Overview

Dr. Gandhi is an Adult, Child, Adolescent and Forensic Psychiatrist who is interested in clinical work at the interface of Psychiatry, Ethics & the Law.  Dr. Gandhi completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency training from the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia followed by Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship training from the Yale Department of Psychiatry & the Law and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training from the Yale Child Study Center. She currently works on the Children's Inpatient Unit of Bradley Hospital. 

She has diverse academic interests and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Association. She currently serves as the President of the Rhode Island Psychiatric Society, Chair of the Membership Committee of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and President-elect of the Indo-American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Gandhi is an advocate for mental health awareness through education and addressing the stigma around access to care, and serves as the Co-Host of Bradley Hospital's podcast, MindCast.
