Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (Research)

Overview

Ana Rabasco, PhD, is an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in 2023 and completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown. Her clinical and research interests are focused on suicide prevention, serious mental illness, and mindfulness.  Her research aims to develop, adapt, and test suicide prevention interventions for people at high-risk for suicide. Her current work focuses on developing a suicide prevention intervention for youth with early psychosis that targets stigma reduction.
