I am a child and adolescent psychiatrist and medical director of the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital (PARC). PARC provides a range of services for treatment of obessive-compulsive, anxiety, and releated disorders and conducts research on disorder phenomenology, on the efficacy and comparative effectiveness of psychosocial treatment, and on treatment dissemination. My primary contribution to the Center's work has been the design and implementation of novel hospital- and community-based partial hospitalization programs that extend intensive exposure with response prevention into homes, schools, and other settings where symptoms are most impairing.
