Adjunct Associate Professor of Family Medicine

Overview

Dr. Lu is an Associate Professor (adjunct) at the Brown University Center for Primary Care & Prevention (CPCP), and  Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is the Director of Biostatistics at Section of Clinical Sciences, Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Lu received his Dr.PH and MS in Biostatistics with minor in Epidemiology from School of Public Health, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). Prior to his arrival in the United States, Dr. Lu earned his medical degree from the China Medical University and was a nutrition epidemiologist at Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Beijing. Dr. Lu has considerable experience in general biostatistics, with specific expertise in the correlated data analysis, design and analysis of clinical trials, cluster-unit trials and longitudinal analysis. Dr. Lu also has extensive research experience in epidemiology and outcomes research of chronic diseases.
