Jonghwan Lee is Assistant Professor of School of Engineering and Carney Institute for Brain Science at Brown University. He leads a research group leelab.ai at the intersection of medical photonics, neural engineering, and artificial intelligence. Before joining Brown, he worked as an instructor and postdoctoral fellow in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He received BS in Physics and PhD in Neural Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea. He is a recipient of the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award.
