Dr. Soto is an adult, child & adolescent, and forensic psychiatrist in Rhode Island. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Yale University, after which she moved to Rhode Island and completed her fellowships in child & adolescent psychiatry as well as forensic psychiatry at The Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.
Dr. Soto splits her time between clinical practice and forensic evaluations. She is the treating psychiatrist at Harmony Hill School, where she provides treatment for boys aged 8-18 in need of a residential treatment level of care. She is also a psychiatrist in the Outpatient Forensic Clinic through the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals where she provides clinical support and completes forensic evaluations.
Outside of her clinical and forensic practice, Dr. Soto enjoys teaching and working with trainees as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown. Her interests in teaching and research are focused around the treatment of aggression, treatment of serious persistent mental illness, and the intersection of the legal and mental health systems.
