Dr. Marwa Sallam is a senior research scientist at the School of Engineering, Brown University, USA, and a professor of pharmaceutical technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt. She has completed postdoctoral fellowships at School of pharmacy, Granada University and CIPF (Spain), EPGL (Switzerland), and Harvard University (USA). She has published 37 peer reviewed papers. Her research focuses on targeted drug delivery systems, advanced biomaterials and cell-based therapies for immunomodulation and treatment of inflammatory disorders, cancer and autoimmune diseases.
