The Center for Statistical Sciences (CSS) was founded in 1995, its mission to foster research and statistical education at Brown. CSS faculty, students, and staff develop new statistical methodology and analytics and collaborate in interdisciplinary research across medicine, public health, biology, and health related topics in the social sciences, with local, national, and international collaborations.
