Research Associate in Physics

Overview

Dr. Spandan Mondal a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, USA. He is currently working on the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment, CERN, that investigates the properties of elementary particles at the highest achievable energy. In particular, his research is focused on the search for the Higgs boson decaying into charm quarks and the development of tools and methods that aid this search. Within CMS, he also serves as the convener of the B-Tagging and Vertexing (BTV) group.
