I am currently working on topics related to literacy and the arts, examining the relationship between an arts-integrated curriculum and the development of student literacy in both elementary and secondary schools.
My research addresses lititeracy theory, literacy and the arts, preparation and professional development of secondary school teachers, teacher research. I am studying collaborations among teachers and arts professionals to create and co-teach literacy curriculum in secondary schools.
