Assistant Professor of Neurology, Clinician Educator

Overview

I'm originally from Indonesia, I did my medical education at Duke-National University of Singapore and did my post-graduate trainings in the US. The decision to do neurology stemmed from my lifelong interest in brain sciences and close encounters with people suffering from neurological disorders. I worked at Montefiore Medical Center for my first year of preliminary internal medicine, followed by my neurology residency at George Washington University hospital in DC. My vascular neurology fellowship was at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University, where I continued my journey as an attending. I'm currently a neurohospitalist and primary stroke center director at the Miriam Hospital.
