Michael Stewart is the author of A Brief Encyclopedia of Modern Magic (The Cupboard), Almost Perfect Forms (Ugly Duckling), Sebastian, an illustrated book for adults (Hello Martha Press), and The Hieroglyphics (Mud Luscious Press). His work has appeared in a variety of journals, anthologies, and installations. In 2011, he was chosen by Starcherone Books as one of the thirty under thirty most innovative young writers. He has won several awards including Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Fellowships in both Fiction ('11, '15, and '18) and Poetry ('11). Michael holds an MFA from Brown University and a BA from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
