Overview

Dr. Yasin Abul is an ABIM board-certified physician in internal medicine and geriatrics, and ABIM board-eligible in pulmonology and infectious diseases. He trained at Marmara University, Stony Brook University, and Brown University, and completed the Clinical Translational Research Master’s Program at Brown University School of Public Health in 2024.

Dr. Abul is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinician Educator in the Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and medical director of the Brown Geriatric Medicine Practice. His research focuses on respiratory infections, outbreaks, and public health surveillance in nursing homes. He serves as principal investigator and co-investigator on multiple ongoing pharma-sponsored and CDC-funded projects,and participates as an adjudication member in global clinical trials as an infectious diseases physician and pulmonologist.
