Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Associate Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences


Dr. Gaudiano is Editor of a multi-volume reference work, titled Mindfulness, which is part of Routledge's Major Themes in Mental Health Series.

He also is Editor of the book, Incorporating Mindfulness and Acceptance into the Treatment of Psychosis: Current Trends and Future Directions published by Oxford University Press. 

In addition, Dr. Gaudiano is Associate Editor of Wiley's Encyclopedia of Clinical Psychology and the APA journal, Psychology of Consciousness: Theory, Research, and Practice.

Dr. Gaudiano received his doctorate in clinical psychology at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He completed his predoctoral clinical psychology internship and his NIMH-funded T32 postdoctoral fellowship in treatment research at Brown Medical School.

Currently, he is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Gaudiano also is a clinical psychologist at Brown-affiliated Butler Hospital, where he conducts research as a member of the Psychosocial Research Program.
