Overview

Dr. Gaudiano co-authored the book by Oxford University Press from their Treatments that Work Series, titled Coping Long Term with Active Suicide Program (CLASP): A Multi-Modal Intervention for Suicide Prevention (Clinician Guide).

Editor of a multi-volume reference work, titled Mindfulness, which is part of Routledge's Major Themes in Mental Health Series.

Editor of the book, Incorporating Mindfulness and Acceptance into the Treatment of Psychosis: Current Trends and Future Directions published by Oxford University Press. 

Associate Editor of Wiley's Encyclopedia of Clinical Psychology.

Currently, Dr. Gaudiano is Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the Brown School of Public Health. Dr. Gaudiano is a Clinical Psychologist at Brown-affiliated Butler Hospital, where he is Associate Director of the Psychosocial Research Program and Director of Butler's Transitional Outpatient Program. In addition, he is Primary Faculty in the Brown Mindfulness Center and a Research Psychologist at the Providence VA Medical Center.

Currently, he is on the American Psychological Association (APA) Council of Representatives and the Board of Directors for the Society of Clinical Psychology. He is also an APA Fellow and serves as the Vice Chair of the APA's Advisory Steering Committee for Development of Clinical Practice Guidelines
